The Christchurch Justice & Emergency Services Precinct (the Precinct) is a $300 million anchor project, led by the Ministry of Justice. The Precinct brings together all justice and emergency services in one purpose-built, leading-edge precinct in central Christchurch.

An estimated 2,000 people will work in or use the 42,000m2 Precinct daily. At the peak of construction, 600 people have been working onsite each day.

It is the largest multi-agency government co-location project in New Zealand’s history and the first major public building to be built in Christchurch by the government since the earthquakes of 2010 and 2011.

TMCo were sought out for our experience in detailed 3D coordinated BIM modelling, in this case LoD 300.

We worked within the existing managed Revit model and detailed the bus duct system to work around other existing services.

This type of work is a key offering to contractors in the market, whereby the modelling skills of TMCo can be utilised to bring construction surety to their work and also reduce project risk overall.
