Salaries are very competitive. We pay by the hour with a minimum 37.5 hour full time work week. This means overtime gets paid. The base 37.5 hour salary is at least at the upper quartile of ACENZ total package salaries of 2020 and on top of  this you have overtime and bonus(es) plus surgical insurance covered and a huge TMCo paid social calendar. Job description

We are looking for a motivated, experienced intermediate structural engineer to join our dynamic Christchurch office.

You will have great communication skills and a friendly, easy-going personality.

You will be involved in a wide variety of work including commercial, retail, government, hospitality, education, aged care, high-end residential, industrial projects, etc., throughout the country, from project conception through to completion. Your key responsibilities will consist of working within a supportive team, engineering design, maintaining relationships, meeting with clients and onsite observation.

A passion for engineering and pride in your work

Well developed communication and interpersonal skills

Designing structures in NZ

Experience monitoring construction and contractor supervision
